Adobe Acrobat 3D was a version of Acrobat from Adobe Systems that contained the features of Acrobat Pro along with 3D tools for capturing content from OpenGL and CAD applications.
Release history[]
- Version 7 was released in February 2006. Adobe Reader 7.0.7 is required to view 3D files from this version.
- Version 8 Preview was a public beta that was released on March 28, 2007.
- Version 8 was released in June 2007. Adobe Reader 8.1 is required to view 3D files from this version.
In the Adobe Acrobat 9 family, Acrobat 3D was superseded by Acrobat 9 Pro Extended. In the Adobe Acrobat X family, some of the 3D features were integrated into Acrobat X Pro, but the full 3D PDF conversion features were spun off into Tetra4D.[1]
