
Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard is the basic version of the Acrobat PDF editor that was released by Adobe Systems for Mac OS X and Windows as part of the Acrobat 6 family in April 2003. Technical support ended on December 31, 2008.[1]

- Merging of multiple documents with the addition of headers, footers, and watermarks.
- Conversion of scanned documents with OCR into fully-searchable PDF files.
- Review management and commenting tools.
- Password protection of PDF files with 128-bit encryption.

- Version 6.0 was released in April 2003.
- Version 6.0.1 was released on November 21, 2003.
- Version 6.0.2 was released on June 7, 2004.
- Version 6.0.3a was released on December 13, 2004.
- Version 6.0.4 was released on August 16, 2005.
- Version 6.0.5 was released on July 11, 2006 and was the final update for Macintosh.
- Version 6.0.6 was released on January 16, 2007 and was the final update for Windows.
