Box of Adobe After Effects 3.1
Adobe After Effects 3 is the third major version of After Effects, and the first to be released by Adobe Systems after its acquisition of Aldus Corporation.
History[]
CoSA, along with After Effects, had been acquired by Aldus corporation in July 1993. Aldus was then acquired by Adobe in 1994, and with it PageMaker and After Effects. Adobe's first new release of After Effects was version 3.0 in October 1995. Version 3.1, still exclusively a Macintosh program, shipped in April 1996; the Windows 95/NT version of 3.1 debuted in May 1997.[1]
