Adobe Captivate 9 box

Adobe Captivate 9 is the ninth major version of the Captivate screen capture and training application, released by Adobe Systems on August 19, 2015. It was included as part of Adobe Technical Communication Suite 2015,[1] replacing Captivate 8, which had been previously been part of the suite.[2]

New features[]

Captivate 9 added support for multi-state objects, improved effects and motion paths, creating a content draft on an iOS device, and for publishing to Adobe's new server-based learning management system (LMS) called Adobe Captivate Prime.[3]

Support[]

Core technical support for Captivate 9 ended on August 20, 2020, and extended support is scheduled to end on August 20, 2022.[4]
