Adobe Director 12 was the final version of the Director series of multimedia authoring environments, released by Adobe Systems on February 11, 2013.

New features included support for publishing to Apple iOS devices, stereoscopy through Shockwave 3D, new post-processing effects, textures and shaders. New supported formats included H.264 and Flash 11 content.[1]

Discontinuation[]
Adobe discontinued sales of Director 12 on February 1, 2017. Support for Shockwave ended on March 14, 2017.[2]
