Adobe Fireworks CS3 is the first version of Adobe Fireworks to be developed in-house by Adobe Systems after its acquisition of Macromedia. It replaced Adobe ImageReady and was included with Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Standard, Web Premium, Design Premium, and Master Collection.

End of support[]

In July 2017, activation servers for CS3 applications were shut down. Registered users who wished to continue using Fireworks CS3 after that date could use their valid serial number to download a new installer from Adobe that could be activated without contacting a server.[1] In December 2019, Adobe stopped providing CS3 downloads entirely.[2]
