Programmer's Reference for FDK 11

Adobe FrameMaker Developer Kit, formerly Frame Developer's Kit (FDK), is a set of C libraries and header files to facilitate development of Application Programmer Interface (API) clients or plug-ins with the C or C++ programming languages. The FDK gives software developers direct access to be able perform interactive user tasks with the objects within a FrameMaker session or document.

Product history[]

FDK 5.5

Frame Developer's Kit was originally released by Frame Technology and was priced at US$1,500 in 1995.[1] After the acquisition of Frame Technology by Adobe Systems, portions of the FDK were made freely available, though a full version required a subscription to the Adobe Developers Association.[2] The FDK for Adobe FrameMaker 2019 supports 64-bit architecture and is freely available (without support).
