Adobe ImageReady was a bitmap web graphics editor that was developed and marketed by Adobe Systems.
Product history[]
Version 1.0 was released in July 1998. Starting with version 2.0, ImageReady was bundled with Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and was no longer sold as a separate product.[1] ImageReady 7 had its version renumbered to match that of Adobe Photoshop 7.
Discontinuation[]
ImageReady no longer existed as a separate application with Photoshop CS3 as its software code was integrated directly into the Save for Web & Devices feature. Its functionality as a standalone application was superseded by Adobe Fireworks, starting with version CS3, after Adobe acquired Macromedia in December 2005.[2]
