Adobe Media Encoder 2 was the second major version of the Media Encoder video media transcoding utility developed by Adobe Systems.

Media Encoder 2.0 was included with Adobe Premiere Pro 2, which was released on January 17, 2006 and was also available as part of Adobe Creative Suite Production Studio.[1][2]
