Adobe Media Player was a streaming media player that was distributed by Adobe Systems. Along with playing back media files, it could play back third party content and webcasts that were streamed over the internet with advertising and DRM support.
Third party channels[]
Discontinuation[]
On June 18, 2009, third party channels stopped streaming on Adobe Media Player, leaving Adobe TV as the sole provider of original content, which was mainly limited to demos and tutorials for Adobe products and services.[1]
Adobe Media Player was pulled from the Adobe TV website on September 16, 2010, and was no longer available for download from Adobe on December 15, 2010.[2]
