Adobe PageMaker 6 was the first version of the PageMaker desktop publishing application to be released by Adobe Systems after it had acquired Aldus Corporation on August 31, 1994.

PageMaker 6.0 was released in 1995. It added illustration capabilities with a new drawing engine derived from IntelliDraw.[1]
PageMaker 6.5 was announced at Seybold SF '96 and shipped at the end of the year.[2]
PageMaker Plus was a package that was marketed by Adobe with the same application as version 6.5 along with Photoshop 5 LE and a collection of stock images and templates. The Windows version also included a content browsing program.
