Adobe PressWise, formerly Aldus PressWise, was digital imposition software that was originally released in 1992 by Aldus, which was acquired by Adobe Systems in August 1994.[1] In January 1996, Luminous acquired the publishing rights to PressWise from Adobe.[2] It was then distributed by ScenicSoft until it was superseded by its own Preps software. PressWise is presently distributed by SmartSoft.
