Adobe Type Basics was a type package that was marketed by Adobe Systems. Available for US$198, it included 35 fonts from Apple's LaserWriter Plus that became an industry standard, along with 30 additional Type 1 fonts from Adobe. It was discontinued by 2000.[1]
