After Effects 2 is the second version of the After Effects series of digital motion graphics and compositing software
History[]
After Effects was originally created by the Company of Science and Art (CoSA) in Providence, Rhode Island. CoSA, along with After Effects, was acquired by Aldus Corporation in July 1993. Version 2.0 was released in January 1994; version 2.0.1 introduced PowerPC acceleration in May 1994. Aldus was then acquired by Adobe later that year.
