Allaire HomeSite 2 cover

Allaire HomeSite 2.0 is the second major version of the HomeSite HTML editing tool for Windows. It is the first version to be released by Allaire Corporation after it had acquired HomeSite 1.0 from programmer Nick Bradbury.[1]

Product history[]

HomeSite 2.5a became available on May 22, 1997 and was a free upgrade to registered users of version 2.0.[2][3] HomeSite 2.5b became available soon after, but HomeSite 2.5a owners were advised not to install it as the only difference was the updated user guide and distribution method.[4] An HTML validation tool was made available separately for an additional US$24.95.[5]
