Macromedia and Adobe in California[edit | edit source]

The state contains several of the most populous U.S. cities, such as San Jose and San Francisco, where Macromedia was based. Adobe acquired Macromedia in December 2005 and now also occupies Macromedia's former offices in San Francisco.[2][3]
