CoSA After Effects 1 is the first version of the After Effects series of digital motion graphics and compositing software

History

After Effects was originally created by the Company of Science and Art (CoSA) in Providence, Rhode Island. Version 1.0 was released in January 1993.

CoSA, along with After Effects, was acquired by Aldus Corporation in July 1993. Aldus was then acquired by Adobe Systems in August 1994.
