Devorah Samet Canter is one of the original co-founders of MacroMind, the predecessor company to Macromedia.
Education[]
Devorah received a B.F.A. in printmaking from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1981. She began her graduate studies at the Art Institute of Chicago and married fellow student Marc Canter, who also co-founded MacroMind in 1984. Devorah received her M.F.A. in art therapy in 1986.[1][2]
Career[]
After spending 12 years in the multimedia industry, Devorah became a full-time artist at the Red Brick Studio in the Mission District of San Francisco.[1]
