Norman K. Meyrowitz is the former president of products at Macromedia.
Education[]
Meyrowitz received a Sc.B. in computer science from Brown University in 1981. In 1985, he developed intermedia, a predecessor to HTML, while at the Institute for Research in Information and Scholarship at Brown.
Career[]
Meyrowitz joined Macromedia in October 1993 as director of advanced technology. By 1996, he was the vice president of product development. In September 1997, Meyrowitz became the president of Macromedia products and presented keynote addresses at Macromedia User Conferences.[1][2] He left the company in February 2004.
