MacroMind ComicWorks was an early multi-page layout application with text and paint capabilities that was developed by MacroMind (the predecessor of Macromedia) and released by Mindscape in 1986.[1]
Features[]
The package contained the main application on one 400KB single-sided floppy disk and the comic art libraries produced by Mike Saenz on the other two. Marc Canter, Jay Fenton, Erik Neumann, and Dan Sadowski at MacroMind are credited with developing the application.[1]
Mindscape also released just the application by itself as GraphicWorks without the comic art.[2]
