Macromedia Authorware 3

Macromedia Authorware 3 is the third major version of Authorware, released by Macromedia on August 1, 1995.[1][2]

Version 3.5[]

Authorware 3.5 was released on June 10, 1996 and introduced significant speed improvements with 32-bit native Windows 95/NT support for PCs and PowerPC support for Macs.[3] It supported Macromedia Director's Lingo scripting language and could import Director movies and export to Shockwave. A Shockwave for Authorware plugin was also included for Netscape Navigator 2.0.[4] However, it was deemed a paid upgrade for existing Authorware 3.0 users.[5] It was also packaged as part of Macromedia Authorware Interactive Studio.
