Macromedia Dreamweaver UltraDev box

Macromedia Dreamweaver UltraDev (version 1) is an advanced version of Dreamweaver 3 from Macromedia with additional features to support building ASP, JSP, or ColdFusion applications.

Product history[]

Dreamweaver UltraDev was announced on May 8, 2000 as a replacement for Macromedia Drumbeat 2000.[1] It was released on June 7 at the JavaOne 2000 conference in San Francisco.[2]

Each copy of UltraDev was bundled with a single-user license of Allaire ColdFusion 4.5 Server and a tightly integrated version of HomeSite 4.5 (for Windows) or BBEdit (for Macintosh).[3][4] Ultradev was also included as part of Macromedia Dreamweaver UltraDev Fireworks 3 Studio.[5]

It was superseded by Dreamweaver UltraDev 4 (skipping version numbers so that the UltraDev and Dreamweaver version numbers would be consistent).
