Macromedia Flash Communication Server MX was the first version of Flash Media Server from Macromedia.

Product history[edit | edit source]

Communication Server MX 1.0 was released in Personal and Professional editions in 2002, followed by MX 1.5 in 2003. It was renamed with the announcement of the public beta of Macromedia Flash Media Server 2 in September 2005.[1]
