Macromedia Flash Media Server 2 was the second major version of Flash Media Server from Macromedia.

Product history[edit | edit source]

The public beta of the server software was announced in September 2005.[1] It was released on November 15, 2005,[2] weeks before Adobe Systems' acquisition of Macromedia and its product line would be completed on December 3, 2005.[3]
