Macromedia Flash Player 2, released on June 17, 1997, was the first version of Flash Player from Macromedia after its acquisition of FutureWave Software.[1][2]

New features[]

  • Mostly vectors and motion, some bitmaps, limited audio
  • Support of stereo sound, enhanced bitmap integration, buttons, the Library, and the ability to tween color changes
