Macromedia RoboHelp X5 was the first (and last) major version of the RoboHelp authoring tool that was distributed by Macromedia.

Product history[]

eHelp Corporation developed and released predecessors RoboHelp X3 and X4.[1][2] eHelp was acquired by Macromedia on October 24, 2003.[3] RoboHelp X5 was released by Macromedia in January 2004.[4]

In December 2005, Macromedia was acquired by Adobe Systems,[5] which continued development and released Adobe RoboHelp 6 in January 2007.[6]
