Product history[]
eHelp Corporation developed and released direct predecessor RoboInfo 3.0 (there is no version 4).[1][2] eHelp was acquired by Macromedia on October 24, 2003.[3] RoboInfo 5.0 was released by Macromedia on January 20, 2004.[4]
In December 2005, Macromedia was acquired by Adobe Systems.[5] Adobe continued marketing the product until late 2007, when it was replaced by Adobe RoboHelp 7.[6]
