Ovation box

Ovation was a presentation program that was developed by Serious Magic and later marketed by Adobe Systems.

Features[]

Ovation can convert PowerPoint slides into visual presentations with additional effects.[1] Themes called "PowerLooks" can add motion, animated backgrounds and dynamic text effects to presentations. Other features include text smoothing and timekeeping with prompting.[2]

Product history[]

Ovation entered into public beta testing in August 2005 and supports PowerPoint 2000, XP or 2003.[3] However, the final released version does not support Windows Vista nor PowerPoint 2007.[4]

Adobe acquired Serious Magic on October 19, 2006.[5] Ovation was discontinued on July 15, 2011.[6] Since September 2013, the Ovation webpage has redirected to Adobe Presenter.[7]
