Paracomp was a software publisher that was known for developing early desktop 3D applications.
History[]
Paracomp was founded in January 1987 by William Woodward, a 26-year-old venture capitalist.[1][2] In 1991, Paracomp merged with MacroMind to briefly form MacroMind-Paracomp,[3] which merged with Authorware Inc. in the following year to become Macromedia.[4]
