SpeedGrade RT was a color correction application that was developed by IRIDAS. It was released in 2003 with non-destructive GPU-based color grading through the use of XML playlists.[1] A separate package called SpeedGrade RAM used RAM-buffering for improved playback on individual workstations or laptops.[2]

On September 8, 2011, Adobe Systems announced that it had acquired IRIDAS' technologies and incorporated SpeedGrade into its product line.[3]
