Syntrillium Software was the company that developed Cool Edit Pro, the predecessor of Adobe Audition.

Syntrillium was founded in 1995 and based in Scottsdale, Arizona. The company was acquired by Adobe Systems in May 2003 for US$16.5 million.[1]
